Note well that performing the modification described below in Service Bulletin 25 will NOT yield the modern AES 17.5 microsecond equalization, but rather constant flux equalization. This is the equalization that Ampex used in 1949 to around 1952 on the Model 201 (an update of the Model 200A, running 15 and 30 ips) and on the Model 301 (compatible with the Model 201, also running 15 and 30 ips).
